AIR DOUGH

If you liked the Play dough recipe I shared with you, Im sure you will love this one too! This is much lighter and more airy than the dense play dough. With just 3 ingredients and no cooking this is a quick way to keep the kids busy for a long time! This stuff was a hit! The kids loved that it was different than the play doughy they were used to playing with.

Ingredients:

1 cup cornstarch

1/2 cup liquid hand soap or dish soap

2 tsp cooking oil.

a couple drops of food coloring (optional)

Directions:

1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

2. After everything is incorporated well (it will be kinda sticky) knead dough by hand

3. If it is too sticky add more corn starch. If it is too crumbly add a little more soap.

We made one batch with equate brand hand soap and one batch with dawn dish soap. Both batches came out good but they have slightly different consistencies. I can’t really say that I like one better than the other. You can just tell that they are a bit different. Let me know in the comments if you use a different soap and how it came out.

I put the air dough (left) next to our homemade play dough (right) so you can see the difference.
