SNOW GLOBE ORNAMENTS

I posted these ornaments that I made to a on Facebook. I had no idea they would be such a hit! I wanted to share how we made them. They are pretty easy to make and the end result is just too cute for words!

Materials:

Laminating sheets

Laminator

White acrylic paint

Photos (fun poses make them look even better!)

Scissors

chunky glitter

Directions:

Cut two circles out of the laminating sheet. I used a cup to trace out the circles. Paint one side near the bottom for the snow. Put white dots of paint around where the picture will be. Leave a little space at the edges for the laminating sheets to stick together, you can trim the excess off after.(this will be the back) Let paint Dry. Cut out image of child (cut close with no background) position image on painted circle. Lightly add glitter around image. Try to stay away from the edges so the laminating sheets will stick. Laminate. Punch a hole in the top for string. Cut out a base from laminated card stock (you will need 2 per ornament.) glue base near the bottom of the laminated circles. Sandwich the "globe" between the 2 bases so that the back is covered too. Write names, year, decorate bases. I hope you like these and enjoy making them as much as we did!
